How to save recipes from TikTok
TikTok favourites are a long, unsorted list of videos. Pasting the link into Pin a Pie keeps the recipe itself — written out, in a cookbook, next to the rest of what you cook.
- Copy the video's link. In TikTok, tap Share (the arrow) on the video and choose Copy link.
- Paste it into Pin a Pie. In Pin a Pie, open the New tab, paste the link into Import recipe and tap Import.
- Fill in what the video only said out loud. Pin a Pie reads the caption. Many TikTok recipes keep the quantities in the video, so add anything missing — the post is saved either way.
- File it. Choose a cookbook under Save to Cookbooks and tap Publish, or Save as draft to finish it later.
Good to know
- Recipes written in the caption come through best — ingredients, amounts and steps.
- Prefer typing it up yourself? Use Paste recipe from text on the New tab and Pin a Pie sorts it into ingredients and steps.
